OUR STAFF

With a foundational background in elementary education and a deep passion for child development, Laura Bell brings extensive teaching, leadership, and entrepreneurial experience to the Red Oak Montessori community. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (certified K–6) and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Her background includes nearly a decade of classroom teaching, four years serving as a Children’s Minister for Pre-K through 5th-grade students, and ten years co-founding and running a woodworking business from the ground up alongside her husband.

Laura’s connection to Red Oak is deeply personal because her own children attended the school, where her family formed lifelong friendships. Having seen firsthand how the school nurtured and encouraged her children, she is a firm believer in the Montessori philosophy—embracing its focus on independence, creative expression, practical life skills, and hands-on discovery.

Outside of her professional work, Laura enjoys gardening, playing piano, and hiking and camping with her family.
